Haha, nice. I hate people who ask that question (in reverse).
Does noone else get this joke? You are kidding right, making fun of those who ask the question in reverse?

If 2+2=3, then why is 1+1 = 2?
You should know that humans and chimps have a common ancestor, which is now extinct. It wouldnt necessarilly have to be extinct of course, but in this case, it happens to be. Sometimes a species branches and one part evolves and is superior, but what it evolved from isnt quite weak enough to die out yet. I just thought of an example...but its very offensive...so nevermind.

Humans didn't evolve from chimpanzees. Chimps and Humans both evolved from a common ancestor.

Oh, my. Did you not yet take sophomore hs biology? Why are there still fish, why are there still bacterial, why isn't everything human???? Get an education, hon. This is truly an ignorant answerbut if you are 12 or 13 pay attention beginning in September? And, I am not trying to be insulting, it is that this is more than adequately covered before you become 15.

Chimps came from the same ancestor as humans. And even if they did it would be called an evolutionary off shoot.

God created man as a higher lifeform than all animals. So man could not come from monkeys.
“Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness, and let them have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and the domestic animals and all the earth and every moving animal that is moving upon the earth.” (Genesis 1:26)

We have a common ancestor. Chimps evolved separately from humans. Your question shows your extremely limited knowledge of biology. I suggest you study a little.

What the? Neither came from neither. Please, read a book on evolution. We evolved from a common ancestor. That's all!
As to why there's still both- obviously each could adapt to their environments. When one can't, then that species dies out.
