Is it bad luck, or is something wrong on a more personal basis?

No, I'm not gay. This is my picture with a rainbow veil. The special man in my life created my avatar. I love rainbows and part of my name means "rainbow". I also love Nascar :)

He just doesn't have the talent his brother did. Toyota are new to the sport and he is way over his head as a team owner.

No, He just is in the first year of a new car. Lets look at it all - New team, new car, COT, this all plays a big part. Plus NASCAR was real reluctant to add Toyota and so they aren't giving him any slack. Just wait, He'll show up to race, it may not be this season, but just wait.

He isnt doing well this year. Notice how he gave up his ride to Terry LaBonte for Sonoma. He referred to himself as an ape because he couldnt qualify for daytona so he knew that there was no way he was going to qualify into Sonoma so he gave his ride to someone else. Smart move on his part since he can race for anything.

It's very difficult to be management and be a driver; very few do it successfully. My favorite driver for years has been Bill Elliott. He tried it and his worst years were when he owned, managed & drove his own car. How can you keep your mind on just racing when you need to worry about marketing, financing and sponsers. Perhaps it's just time for him to choose one role or the other.

I think he just took on to much for his first year as an owner/driver. New team, 3 cars, unproven manufacture new to the sport + driving & owning. To much for one guy. No wonder he drinks.

starting a new team with a new Toyota team and starting the team with not being guaranted a starting spot because you have no owner points makes it for a tough start.

He is trying what so many other drivers have tried. To own and drive.I think he is in over his head and should stop doing one of them.
