Bush is part of the problem, but it goes much farther than him. It goes to business who hire the illegals for cheap labor and the illegals themselves for coming here illegally. Bush isn't doing anything because the status quo is what he is trying to mantain until he leaves office. To really solve this problem, provide people in Mexico (I say Mexico, because I don't believe your talking about Canada!) access to jobs that have living wages that allow people to live where they are at. The US should also put pressure on Mexico to provide a better life for their own citizens. Finally, all 50 states should enforce the laws we already have.

The latest telephone poll taken by the Florida Governor's office, asked whether people who live in Florida think illegal immigration is a serious problem:

29% of respondents answered: "Yes, it is a serious problem."

71% of respondents answered: "No es una problema seriosa."

Easy he would p*ss off his corporate buddies who claim to be dependant upon them for the cheap labor they provide. The second reason is the republicans and democrats have for years been trying to garner the hispanic vote. If they were actually to enforce the existing laws they run the risk of alienating all those voters.

Jorge Bush is a Mexican butt kisser and cares more about Mexicans than Americans!

He is a liar when he says our laws don't work. How can he possibly know since the laws have never been enforced!

He has no intention of doing anything because he can't. It's not a problem with a quick fix. He's just using it to distract us from the colossal failure that is the Iraq war and his presidency.
