Well ,if the scriptures are to be believed the earth will go down in brimstone and fire.. Not by Mans hands but by Gods. Kind of like the theory that scientists are predicting what will happen in a billion years when the sun engulfs the earth as it expands into super nova..so........ As there is no set time for Revelations to actually start. That theory may be what it could be pertaining to........So no...burning to death is not exactly my idea of fun.. Don't want to be around then...

Shelley,
"Revelation" has already come true. It was written to the Christians while John was a Roman Captive. It was an encouragment to them and was written about the Romans. It was written in a manner so that the Roman Guards could not understand it. IT is not a Futurist's Writing as some would suppose. You and I should begin studying the Bible so that you may understand how important GOD truly is in your life. Read, study, and obey HIS WORD. Have a wonderful week!
Thanks,
Eds

"Revelations" might not come true. (Whatever they are.)

The Book of Revelation, however, has already begun to be fulfilled. John was told to write about the things of the past, the present (at that time), and the things of the future.

We are currently coming up on Chapter 4.

So you read chapter 6 of the revelation to John and think tha tthis has not been seen since 1914 ? A great sword that the nations might slaughter one another.
Large slice of the pie that is humble up ahead for you my ami.

I was `there` when some idiots marched up a mountain with the `saved`. Two days later they marched down singing praises that He had `changed his mind` FOR NOW ! Gullibility is part of the condition.

Why would they beleive that? They always keep pushing back the date as much as they want. The only way anybody will realise anything is if they actually evolve mentally, and creationists are against evolution so they wont allow it to happen (to christians, at least!)

That will never happen
Not arguing whether the Revelation will occur or not. I'd say that either the date will move endlessly or you will be unhappily surprised. Given the possabilities the "unbelievers" would have the worst end.

Don't you know that they will NEVER realize it. You see, if it doesn't happen while they're alive, they'll just assume that it wasn't supposed to happen in their life time. It's one of those open ended prophesies, that's why it can't really be disproved. Pretty clever con if you ask me. ;)

if we could SEE Heaven, Hell, "the afterlife" - The Spiritual Realm of God as we understand Him. We could probably answer that question more accurately! So, how do YOU know that Revelations isn't coming true?

Chuckle. No. I only hope to be there when they realize there's no god and no afterlife and it's okay.

But I don't expect that to happen. I think most people have to be alone when that particular reality makes itself apparent.
