South Central Montana here. We have had an exceptional amount of rain this spring, with cool to quite cold weather. And lots of wind. I have a tree down in my yard from the wind.
Tall, growing well, but the extra moisture in the soil around the roots and a big gust of wind that rattled the roof brought it down after probably 75 years of everything Montana could throw at it.
Today was very warm, near 80, low humidity, and clouds are building, so we might get more rain, which would be nice for the fields and for the fishermen and for barge shipping in the southland later in the year. And help keep forest fires down.
Hailstorm about 4 days ago now in the wee hours...some up to golfball sized...roof sure rang!
And for the record, there has been much more rain in the lowlands to the south than up here in the highlands.

Not right now. We just moved back to Indiana and I missed the thunderstorms so much! We lived in southern California for a year and it was sunny, 70 degrees, and did not ever rain. Okay, it rained like twice. It was weird how the weather never changed, like Pleasantville. Creepy. I love thunder and lightening and sideways rain. Ohhh, give me a storm!

It suck over here we are in the Sunshine state of Southern California and dealing with sunny 70 degree weather, not to metion the beach breeze. Geez life is so terrible

I'm in Orlando. It rained last night and this am but not as of 7:05 p.m. But I LOVE thunderstorms!!

It hasn't rained here (Iraq) in almost three months. We won't see any rain for another three to four months. We do have plenty of sandstorms!

actually, here in ohio were finally getting rain and storms. its nice. hasnt rained or stormed in a while the grass is so brown.lol
