"The rate and the manner in which an animal body decomposes is strongly affected by a number of factors. In a roughly descending degree of importance, those factors include:
Temperature
The availability of oxygen
Prior embalming
Cause of death
Burial, and depth of burial
Access by scavengers
Trauma, including wounds and crushing blows
Humidity, or wetness
Rainfall
Body size and weight
Clothing
The surface on which the body rests
Foods/objects inside the specimens digestive tract (bacon compared to lettuce) "

Guess it depends on what brought that topic up to begin with. If it was just curiosity, I wouldn't be concerned. If she's a bit on the psycho side...I think I'd RUN!!
(FYI, takes three or four days before you start decaying under normal conditions..then several weeks to totally decompose, but depends on surroundings)

Well for one I wouldn't give her your back anywhere you are. ANd it all depends on the weather if the body is outside and if not depends on the conditions inside. Sleep with one eye open from now on. Because if she hires me to do it well all I got to say is goodbye.

That is very funny! Really.
Sorry, I don't know how long it takes a body to decompose.
I'm sure you have nothing to worry about.

She probably just watches too much CSI and is curious. Unless she suddenly takes an interest in hunting or taxidermy you're probably pretty safe.
