see the problem is that, they weren't really going out it was i 1 night stand. my mum was in university, so she was on night out, reali the rest is history. mum didnt want to talk about it until when i was 16. thats wen i confronted and asked her what really happened so she told. but i don't think that there is any thing else that she knows apart from what she told me. none of my family members knew, i didnt know my self that i was mixed till i was like in secondary school when kids started asking questions. My whole family kept it a secret, since my mum didnt like talking about it.

if he was born in the US, then he has a Social Security Number. Which you should find on your original birth certificate. Write him a letter. give all the information he needs to to contact you. where you work, phone numbers, your address, an address of a friend, contact information for at least three other friends, and cell phone numbers. seal this letter in an envelope. then write a letter to the Social Security Administration and request them to forward him this letter. write down all the information you gave but in more detail such as timelines of these occurances. Also include his SSN number, the year you were born, possible compination of names. they can cross reference his name.

i did this for my own dad when i was 17, my dad called me the day he got the letter. Took SSA a month to forward the letter. all this was free of cost.

You actually have a lot of info, but not enough. Talk to your mom if you can and your family, get as much as you can. Run his name thru the directory of the place you search. Thats the best beginning. Its a hard long process if you cant get names of work, state he lives in. You might try putting a message on all the sites on thier message boards or even find out if there is a directory for banks and links to newsletters and hit all of those.

I wish you well, I only ask that you are sure this is what you want, it may not have the ending you want.

Research! research!!
Ask lots of questions about his citizenship/naturalization
dates that match time of association , choi chang ching is not a common name, ask questions about its origin seek out people who knew about your parents dating one another, seek out help from others with a similar quest but most of all stay positive.

Bella's answer sounds promising, I'd recommend that. However, if you don't have any luck with that, I'd suggest you gather as much information as you can get on him, then hire a private investigator. They sometimes have access to information you don't.

Good luck.
