I have always found it hard to make friends with girls. I have 3 close female friends and all the rest of my friends are blokes. They are easier to get along with, don't ***** as much and generally just like to have fun. I also find girls, or at least the ones i know, like to cause trouble and spoil a good night out. Blokes just make better mates all round.

Well first of all, it's learned behavior, whether it's from friends, family, or the media. So the blame is not all on them. The only blame that can be placed is when they find out that the way they act is hurtful and immature, and they do nothing to change it. A large amount of females I know are very bitchy, so I limit my time with them. I sure if you really want female companionship, you'll find a cool chick eventually. Otherwise, just hang with guys. Males are much easier to deal with if they can respect your body and personal space.

Yeah I agree with you girls are most of the time real bitchy and they usually talk ***t behind your back. I also find it hard to make friends with girls. Good luck because there are very few who will actually be awesome to talk and hang out with. I know I still haven't found any.

Boys and girls have different methods of competing with each other.

Guys tend to try to prove their own superiority. That's why guys get hurt doing stupid things. They're just trying to do better than the last guy.

Girls tend to try to prove the other girl's inferiority. So they attack the other girl's flaws to make them look bad. Then, by comparison, they look better themselves.

Best you can do is to just not lower yourself to those tactics. Eventually you'll find friends of the same mindset and will have a great time. Don't compromise yourself, in the end you'll be unhappy.

You find girls bitchy because you subconciously invite them to be bitchy towards you. Maybe they see you as a more contented person - your body language can easily convey that. Or maybe they perceive you as better educated, and therefore a threat.

Bitchy behaviour is essentially a protective device, an invisible shield so to speak, to keep away people who may be perceived as threats to self esteem.

Maybe you do appear a little patronising towards others. Think about this aspect too.

Yes I used to have this problem and have more male friends than female friends because of it. I find making friends with fellow tom boys works as treat as ya both have the same thinking level and are on the same wavelength. Don't worry about not having beitchy girls as mates as believe me its their problem and their loss not yours

It is really difficult to make friends with girls if you are also a girl because they tend to become too competitive about everything. A true friend is a rare breed.

Yes girls are competitive. But the ones that do not act phony are usually true friends. Good luck. There are some girls that I do nto choose to associate with cuz they act that way and I cannot stand it.
