Yes, it is a terrible thing. In the end though, israel will have to pay the cost of it's deeds. It would have already caught up with them, except for the fact that they are protected by the US. It looks like the best days of the US are behind them now though.

What do you define as a civilian?

A 14 year old child with a gun?

Additionally are you going to make a moral equivalent between targeted civilians and those unfortunately killed when Hamas leaders are targeted?

If Israel desired to kill civilians you and I both know they have enough fire power to level Gaza in 24 hours. The fact that they do not, and instead only target those that plot and carry out attacks shows they are not interested in killing civilians.

Hamas on the other hand specifically targets and kills civilians. Their is no moral equivalent between a person that targets civilians and those that do not.

You tell me, if Hamas had Israels fire power tomorrow, would they only target the Israeli military, which can fight back, or would they level Tel Aviv. That should give you your answer.

The Israelis aren't aiming at your civilians, but your Hamas is hiding behind them. Hamas, on the other hand IS aiming at Israeli civilians (elderly, children etc...)
