I find it interesting that most athiests have been exposed to religion and have more knowledge in it than most theists. There is nothing immoral to not have belief in the supernatural. The main issue I have with most theists is when they are unsure of something, many immediately conclude "God did it!" without any reason.

Atheism really is the only "religion" that has any sense. Most atheists believe in science and logic, rather than stories and make believe. While many other religions are not prepared to accept the Big Bang and Evolution, it is becoming a widespread accepted theory, due to evidence being found. However, religion has very little to back it up, except story books created to satisfy people's question from the Dark Ages: "Why are we here?". Atheism rocks.

I have a great deal of respect for atheism. They at least study, educate themselves and use their logic.
Many religious practioners today simply go by tradition or are so lazy that they just regurgitate what some religious figurehead tells them is 'truth'.
I'd much rather talk to an atheist than a monotheist who worships the abrahamic god (with very few exceptions).

Atheism is too absolute for me. Although I don't believe in any of the gods that a lot of people do, I want to believe that there is something more after this life.

atheism is a religion (a belief there is no god)teaching atheism is spreading a religion itself so basically they that teach this are really hypocrites.and atheist can't even defend there view.all they can say is I THINK there is no god.logically they can't say THERE IS NO GOD.by saying there is no god is intellectual suicide.to make this statement one must be ALL KNOWING.mankind only knows about 2% of all the knowledge in the universe.can god exist in the other 98% they don't know????? the honest anwser is yes or maybe.so the atheist is really an agnostic he doesn't REALLY KNOW.

Everyone should have the freedom to believe or not believe in anything they wish (as long as they are not hurting anyone) without being judged by others.
Atheism or not is a personal choice to be made by the individual.

meaning.. what is my opinion on this religion??
um, i personally believein god.. and all of that, but if one decides that they dont agree, it is completely fine with me,and i respect their decision, even if i do not have the same veiw.
i think it is rediculous, the way, there is sometype of trend.. with being atheist.. that its "cool" to not beleive in god.. and that it is somewhat of a "fashion statement.." it only makes that person look pathetic and ignorant, if they choose that religion under those circumstances...
:) sorry i wrote so much..

Atheism changed my life and put me on a truth-seeking path that has made me happy and confident.
No made-up religion could ever do that!

Its a wonderful feeling not being chained to a deity that wants you to feel guilty and worthless .
I am not beholden to fear anything but the everyday realities of life . Burgulries ,murder ,rape and beatings .People are dangerous enough .I am glad god is not real ,Imagine how he would ruin our everyday lives .

I'm not sure what my "detail" is, but I think atheism in its agnostic form is the only rational choice.
