If it's legal porn like Playboy, Penthouse, etc. with adults doing it, no. that stuff is perfectly legal.
Any kiddie porn then you're in trouble.

A computer repair person is legally obliged to report any child porn found on a computer, kind of like medical personnel and teachers are required to report any indications of abuse. The info could certainly be used as evidence against the computer's owner and might also be probable cause to investigate him/her further to see if he/she goes online to lure kids.
I'm not sure if the existence of the child porn alone would be a criminal matter in all states.

I was just discussing this same issue with a neighbor. If there is porn in your computer the people should go to jail. There are occupations that take care of children and this should be carefully monitored because of so much abuse .

it's illegal to send or recieve pornographic images of OR to children...if it's regular adult porn you can have it BUT if you bring little kids over to show it to them..or send what's on your comp to kids you are in violation of the law
