They're not anti-Jesus. They are anti-His followers. They're fine with Him (He's their homie remember?) but they don't like us Christians. It's not like we don't give them a good reason to hate us.. many Christians give the rest of us a bad reputation by being judgemental or hyporcrites.

You are gambling with your soul that zeus isn't real. Repent while you still can and accept him! Otherwise he will torture you forever!

Pascal's wager:

"If god exists, it's infinitely better to believe, since you get heaven instead of hell for eternity. If he doesn't, it doesn't matter since you're dead anyway. So overall it's better to believe"

This is, of course, false.

Some of the problems with the argument:

* The implied assumption that god may exist (with a 50% probability, no less!)

* The assumption that there is an afterlife with a heaven and hell

* The assumption that the god cares about belief in him/her above all else

* The assumption that if you believe in a god, it will definitely be the same god that actually exists.

* The assumption that you lose nothing if it's false. You have lost a great deal, from time praying to a nonexistent entity (some people pray several hours a day!!!) to morality (your god may ask you to hurt other people) and much more besides.

* The assumption that people can believe in something simply because it benefits them. Would you believe goblins exist for twenty bucks? Why not?

* The assumption that any god won't see through the "believing just to get into heaven" ploy.

Yeah, they say "All these religions claim that they know the Truth, but none of them can agree on what that Truth is, and nobody can prove themselves right, or prove anybody else wrong."

If you're a Protestant and the Catholics are right, you're going to Hell. If you're wrong and the Muslims are right, you're going to Jahannam, which is pretty much exactly like Hell. If you're wrong and the ancient Egyptians were right, your heart's going to be eaten by a demonic hippo. If you're wrong and the Buddhists are right, you'll be reborn as a dung beetle.

If I were you I'd hope the Buddhists are right, because the rest of those sound pretty unpleasant.

"and if I am wrong I've lost nothing. My odds are better. Wake up eternity is a lot longer than 70 to 80 yrs."

Unless, of course, one of the OTHER religions are right and THEIR afterlife is the one that you will encounter - including having your heart eaten by Ammit.

Oh, wait, that's not even a remote possibility in your reality, is it, because OF COURSE it's YOUR religion that has to be the RIGHT one.

Arrogance and ignorance make a dangerous pair.

One, not everyone is anti-Jesus. The reason why we are shunning the word of God, is because Satan has corrupted the world. After the great flood, Noah and his sons had to repopulate the world, some of his sons did the wrong thing, and started corrupt in our world, but some of his sons followed what Noah had told them and there discendants were righteous.

I guess the majority of people looks at Christianity as either a false religion or dumb belief. Since we have crazy humans in this society, we have preachers being hypocrites and not representing God like how they should. And that cause the world to non-religious. Well, at least that's what I think.

i am so sick and tired of x-tians pushing their belief on everyone! or making people feel wrong for believing in something other than Jesus. if x-tians are right then when the time comes ( judgment day) you can stick your tongs out, say i told you so while happily skipping away holding hands to eternal happiness.

until then let people believe and practice what they want!

and no im not an atheist.....

you know, if you read the question you asked, and you imagine yourself OUTSIDE that group that you consider to be "inside" you would understand the answer.

No other religion (except fundamentalist Islam and fundamentalist Christianity) make the ridiculous claim that their religion is the ONLY path to salvation.

Jews, Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism, Shinto all are
"live and let live" cultures. What happened to Christianity and Islam to make them so intolerant?

Because you believe so.
You don't know jack about anyone's soul so stop acting like you do.
Tell us how your odds are better than non believers.
That is your truth. Not mine.
Truth is in the eye and mind of the believer.
You know what they say about delusions don't you.
