Yes I do find it hard to forgive if I can't forget what they did to hurt me.
Sometimes the pain subsides and then I can learn to forgive. but if I am still hurt and angry and haven't forgotten, I won't forgive.

Emotional pain isn't like someone breaking one of my glass, for that I might not forget, but can forgive. But hurt my soul and that's a different story.

It all depends on the individual circumstances. But, I dont believe in forgiving just on the basis of them being my family as I think a lot of people get away with a lot of things just because they're family.

Yes, more so if they hurt my family or friends than myself. But,
I don't know why. There is a saying and I think it goes something like this. "To forgive is human, to forget divine."
P&L, have a good-one...

I find it hard to forgive. I just try to keep my distance from them for some time. I also write out my feelings of anger and resentment. If its really bad, I discuss my concerns with them.

Sometimes it's hard depending on what they did; but you will feel better about yourself if you forgive them easy. Harboring bad feelings will bring you down.

Sometimes it all depends on wether the problem is really bad or not that bad....but I will for give my friends because we havce been friends for a while and that we can trust each other but one of them will go nuts for some reason and think that i might make fun of them or that i just hate them at the moment. It depends. To really really really really forgive things that really hurt (like murder in the extreme) takes time and is different to different people. BUT there is a saying to forgive is divine and we are human..............

I am always the one saying I am sorry and I am the one who forgives. Everyone else lives in their own personal knotted torment daily cause they can't do either.

it's hard to forgive both... cause they're the last ppl you expect them to hurt you... you would expect strangers and envious ppl to hurt you and you're prepared to them , you fight them... but when it's your family or friends, you become speechless... you don't expect it cause they're supposed to be there for you and help you...

You wouldn't know what to answer them, cause if they were strangers, you'd tongue-lash them, you know you'll be hurting them.. but you can't.. ok lol... i got carried away.. Good Luck
