It is normal however you need to deal with it. I sugest a toy box with lots of toys. When my dog was a puppy someone suggested I give him fresh frozen carrots that seemed to numb his gums alot like a childs soother. It worked wonders. I would also suggest ice to chew on. Discourage any teeth on hand. Be firm put gentle when training.

It Is “normal” in the sense that almost all puppies go through a biting stage, but it is something you should not really allow. At this point, you should be actively trying to stop the biting. Puppies need to learn at a young age that biting is not ok, or they may grow into dogs that think it’s ok to bite.
If the pup starts biting during play, say something like “No bite!” and stop playing until your pup has calmed down. Some people also recommend “yelping” like a dog, as if you were hurt, and pulling your hand away, to help the puppy get the idea that it is hurting you. Some pups and dogs will kind of “mouth” lightly (just gently put their mouth on things), but hard bites should be discouraged.
Also, your pup may be teething. Biting helps with the discomfort, so make sure your pup has things to bite and chew on other than your hand.

Yes, its perfectly natural, ALL dogs no matter age, love to chew on something, specially puppies. I give some reasons for this below.
All puppies love to have something to chew on, specially around six months or maybe a bit younger because they are teething. If it is around 2 or 3 moths old, then it's biting to get its teeth strong.
I would recommend you to buy it some chew toys which you can get in almost any pet store.
The toys I would recommend for your puppy or any dog are the next;
Pull rope.- It must be from a pet store, for the treads or what they are made of are stronger and designed for them. You can play with them a small game of tug-o-war. This will help to strengthen the bond between you two and give the puppy some more strength in its jaw. Just be careful not to pull too hard and to not let your puppy win a lot, for he may then consider itself as the Alpha.
Special bones that are sold in pet stores, um I forgot its name.
These will help to keep your dogs teeth clean and will strengthem them.
Look for special chew toys. This will ease your puppy's itching if its teething and will also give your puppy a great time. This toys will last him for a long time.

How old is your puppy? When was it removed from its mom?
I ask because puppies removed from their mom too young (before 8 weeks) haven't had a chance to learn a very important lesson thier mommy teaches them. It is called 'bite inhibition'. What it means is that since using their mouths is how they play and carry things, they have to learn to bite gently when playing and such. She would also teach them respect so they don't get too rambunctious when play-biting.
If you want to stop your puppy from biting or biting too hard, you must hold him firmly, but gently when he does it and tell him "No!" Then let him go immediately. If he plays again without biting, good. If he bites again, repeat the first step above, and stop playing with him completely when you let him go. Walk away and ignore him for at least a few minutes. Puppies are social and want to please thier owners usually. Soon he will realize that biting you will make you not want to play with him, and he will stop.

Puppies bite. They chew because they are teething,and they are also playing. Your hands look like fast moving toys in the eyes of a puppy.
Make sure you have plenty of safe chew toys and encourage puppy to use them, She/he will grow out of the chewing stage.

Puppies like to mouth your hands. This is how they play and teeth. To discourage this behavior, everytime the puppy mouths your hand, give it an appropriate chew toy instead. It will take a few weeks, but he should get the idea.

Yes, pups are like babies. They all like to teeth and chew. Try a pacifier made for pups.
