I plan on getting a tattoo soon, so I'm just asking this out of curiosity. What anyone says here is not going to make me change my mind. I just want to know what others think.

I have 4 tattoos and going in for my 5th one in a few weeks.

I don't have any regrets. I take a long time finding the perfect image. After that I keep it in my pictures on my computer and every day I look at it. If I don't get tired of it after a few months, I get the tattoo. So far, this has worked for me.

Oh and they are addicting.

I will never regret getting my tattoo. I got mine in memory of my best friend who died on 11.11.06. He loved music so much, so, I got the intro to "Sweet Child O' Mine" connected to a star. That is my favorite song, and I think of him whenever I look at it. So, no, I don't think I will ever regret it. I only hope that the rest of my tattoos will look as good and hold as great a meaning.

I have 4 and I'm going for the 5th this week and I dont regret a single one. I havent had a single regret in my life to be honest. I prefer not to dwell on the past when we live in the present and have the future to think about. having a tattoo allows me to remember my past though and its like being able to carry memories with me. my first tattoo I got when I graduated high school, the second was my 19th birthday and when my hubby and I started dating, my thrid was when I moved in with him (first time out on my own) and my forth he and I got together half way between our engagement and out wedding. so everyone marks a special time in my life that I never want to forget.

I have 7 tattoos some proffesionaly done some i did my self and i have no regrets but thats me. just keep in mind that a tattoo stays with you 4-ever, well you can get it removed usually for a higher cost and more pain.

not at all and my tattoos dont even look good.
i have a blue star on my hand that i did myself.. [bad idea] but i still love it even though its kind of crooked i believe the star connects me with the sky. im going to get it redone when i get older so i can be proud of it though.
then have a single blue dot on the fold of my elbow its absolutley pointless but i dont mind because i hardly ever even remember i have it until i glance down and see it. that dot will soon be transformed into something else in a year or soo..
and then my faveorite tattoo is a small 11:11 on the inside of my right wrist. its not even healed fully yet i only got it a couple days ago, but it has sooo much meaning to me and it makes me proud that i could handle the tattoo gun.

soo when you get your tattoo make sure you get it professionaly done so you dont get a crappy one like mine, and make sure its something that has meaning to you, and take care of it right.

permanant tattoos r great...but difficult 2 remove if u regret @ a later stage...usually involves highly costly n painful methods...hweva now dat u say ur mind s set on tatooing...jus make sure of this b4 u get it done...

1. r u sure u wanna tatoo?
2. wil d pattern or design or words or phrase u choose go with u ..like in all occasions n with all clothes and @ any point of time....????
3. b sure which part of body u gonna get it done.???..bcos even if u regret it later u can cover it up easily by wearin suitable clothes.
4. n get it done by a gud professional in a hygienic place..

temporary tattoos n mehendi patterns r also not too bad...they r easy 2 remove n give u more freedom of choice...

nope i love all my tattoos. I got my first one at 14 but recently covered it up not that i regret getting it but i just wanted something bigger on my leg. Many of my tattoos are like a story to my life or just simply mean something to mean.

I don't regret any of my 10 tats. They all mean something to me. I just would say get something that has meaning and watch out for your placement of the tattoo. Think about your wedding, wearing dresses, shorts, tanks. That is it.
:) Hope I helped a tiny bit.

hey L...i have work on my upper back right, half sleeve and working on my left 3/4sleeves now...i love all my tattoos. i see my body as my life's journal. each work marks a special moment in my life. Not that i only wait for something special then get tatttooed but i can look back during that time and say hey, it was worth it. Get it, you'll enjoy it just as much.

Nope not at all. I have 16 tattoos if you count my full back piece as one. Would do it all over again if I had to. I got mine for myself and my feelings. I don't care what others think I'm me like me or not.
