Its really embarressing when i sing because my eyes always tear up is there any way to stop this????

That happens to me too. All you have to do is think of something else. Just concentrate on the words of the song,think of something you really like to do, or think of something that you are going to do after the performance. I had a really big performance one day and I just concentrated on the words and my eyes were fine.

It is good to feel a song, but try not to let emotions compromise your performance. If you're a talented singer, then even through teariness you can sing controlled. It isn't a good idea to get teary though because it can make your nose run etc. I know what you mean when some songs really speak to you but if you concentrate on singing correctly most of your thinking will be on that. Alterntively learn guitar to play while you sing so all your concentration is used up. Good Luck!

That means that when you are singing you get too deep in the meaning of the song and then you feel that feeling that makes you cry. But i think is not bad, people see that singing really touch your heart and i think that's something very sweet.

Thats great gurl...Do you know how many singers including myself have a problem of not connecting emotionally to a song. Emotion is what good singers have a problem with achieving.

try to distance urself from the actual lyrics just while u sing

well do u cry cuz ur sad? maybe idk its ok 2 cry unless ur like bawling....if ur reallly into it and its deep or sad..and u get a wee bit tearyeyed..then thats ok cuz it means ur into it..othrwise i dont no
