my friend and i are needing help buying something from ebay,but we do not have a visa card, is their any other way to get it?(hope this isn't a stupid question) if so please explain how we do it.....thanks

You can link your checking account to paypal and it will be directly withdrawn. Also, some sellers offerthe option to send check or cashiers check. This takes longer however because you have to send payment to the seller through the snail mail and they usually don't ship until the payment has cleared.

It's up to the seller. most will let you mail a cashier's check, money order, or personal check; of if you have a bank account and a Paypal account you can pay that way too.

Send a money order, but make sure the seller has a high positive rating.

Many buyers will let you mail them a check or money order. If it's a check, they probably won't send your item until it clears.
The listing should show the payment methods they accept.

all the answers are correct. i prefer paypal. you can send payment without using a credit card by an echeck or transfer of funds.
