A ton of bi-polars never want to take their meds. I think you should talk to her bf and tell him how she acts when she gets home and that she needs to take them, or have ur parents kick her out if she doesnt comply. I know its hard but she shouldnt be ruining everyone elses life. Seriously sit her down and tell her shes acting psychotic and try to find a solution from here. Stay strong and good luck.

Tell her that smoking is enough to give her cancer so if she wants to prevent cancer then she should consider stop smoking. Tell her that she's hurting the family and she needs her meds. If her boyfriend disagrees then she should stay with him!!! maybe he'll reconsider on how bad the medication is!!

you really can't force her to take her meds. she needs to want to take her meds. you need to sit and talk to the boyfriend and see why he doesn't want her to take her meds. you also need to tell him that she needs to take her meds. if she is a threat to herself or anyone else you need to call someone and have her hospitalized. if the boyfriend won't accept the fact that she needs the meds then its time to find a way to get rid of the boyfriend. she needs to be in a clear state of mind and on her meds and then you need to talk to her and tell her what kind of harm he is doing to her by telling her she doesn't need her meds. I'm bi-polar and i have never used meds, but i have been through years of counseling and i meditate and i pray and i have a great support system of family and friends. Good luck to you all!

You need to have a sit down with your sister, fiance, and her doctor to discuss the situation and an alternative treatment plan.
