Do you know every single thing there is to know?--don't lie, because you will look foolish. How can you say there is no God?

God's not real, right? You people always seem to mock God and say He is ficticious, a myth, a legend, a imaginary friend. Why is it then that you all hang around on the spiritual section? Should you not be asking questions under the mythology section? Because none of you know everything there is to know. Thus, none of you can actually make an absolute 100% sure statement that there is no God. That's why you hang around on religion. You are interested, and you know there is a God. I sincerely hope you find Him before it's too late to even find Him at all. I hope that you will consider what you read about Christ, and that you see He is the only way. Go to www.gotquestions.org, www.intouch.org, www.lesfeldick.org, and www.icr.org. And by the way, the true Christians do not hate you. We love you, and that is why we are DETERMINED to lead you to Christ.

Contrary to what most of you will reply, I know what you really feel. Yep, so do not deny it.

I'd like to point out that just because some people don't believe in the idea of one true god that will lead us all down the only one true path like you do, doesn't make us ignorant or narrow minded, thats what you are.
People mock some religious people and they're beliefs because its really annoying that some of you cant accept that just because its right and makes sense to you, doesn't mean it must be the same for everyone else.
We are all different and instead of forcing your beliefs on people, just understand that some people don't think the same as you.
If someone doesn't believe in god , then god doesn't exist to them. They're not wrong or sinners or in need of help, it just doesn't work for them. The sooner you understand that and leave people alone, then the sooner others will respect your beliefs, because its not being forced on them.
If people are supposed to be a part of your religion, then they will come to it naturally.
Just stop trying to convert everyone, and telling people their wrong or evil.
Everyone is different, if we were all meant to be the same, then wouldnt your god make it like that?

What I feel is angry that you pretended to have a question for agnostics and when I came here got yelled at by a raving lunatic. This isn't a question and I don't believe a single word you say because you are a raving lunatic. I believe moderate, reasonable, rational people and my own experience. I've never claimed there is or isn't a God, just dispute some people's description of God. And I'll bet yours is a doozy. You are determined to force your fervent beliefs down people's throats and I'll bet you've never even read the Bible from beginning to end. I have. Several times, different versions. You don't reflect the teachings of the Jesus of the Bible at all. And if you're one of those old testament types then stay away. Some of that stuff is sick and wrong.

ok...i'm a christian and i don't feel like he is putting anybody down with this statement.....i have seen many things written by atheists and agnostics towards the christians on here that are very condescending and rude...pretty much making fun of us for believing. this guy doesn't hate you , he's probably just tired of all the god bashing. and he is not claiming to know everything there is to know ....but the bible has too much evidence in it to just ignore. and i believe he did say we love you. so lets try not to overlook that. and why is it that it's mostly the christian faith that is bashed ...you hardly ever hear anyone bash other religions....the bible also says that this would happen. if you truly don't know what to believe then you should do some studying. and if you really don't care and are happy with not knowing what lies in store for you in the future then i feel sorry for you. it is the job of a good christian to trey to convert unbelievers...we don't want anyone to perish in hell. i understand that we wouldn't want to be coaxed into believing other things as well but the bible is the only thing that has really measured up. i wish that you OPEN MINDED PEOPLE would just give it a chance and hear it out...you might be suprised. the bible says that God reveals his self to all so no one is left with excuse. and you will never truly understand the bible until you give your self to you creator. why don't everyone just try one simple thing....it can't hurt....just ask in prayer ......God are you real, is the only way to heaven through Christ? could you please show me a sign because i don't know what to believe and i really would like to know what my purpose is here. that's all you have to do is ask...and you will get your answer but you really have to be sincere when you ask. it can't hut and if there is no god then you lost anything. i have studied many beliefs and as a thinking person this is the only one that really makes since and as a saved christian God has shown me the truth. please just seek. what have you got to lose? and christians are getting a bad rap ...so maybe if you could ...please take it a little easier on us....there are worse things in the world to be. we really do care about you guys.

I've seen my share of adult "witch wars", sure. I've seen my share of McWiccan teens telling some ordained High Priests/Priestesses of 15-20 years that they (the more experienced elders) are completely wrong and aren't "real Wiccans." And of course, there are some Wiccans that feel that the ONLY way one can be a real Wiccan is to be initiated into a coven, while others believe that one can walk a solitary path holding to the beliefs and actions of Wicca and still be considered a real Wiccan. No group is immune to human nature. The only thing I very rarely see from any Wiccans are attempts to tell those of other spiritual paths that Wicca is the *only way* - because of course, it seems the majority of us feel that spirituality is a personal thing and isn't a "one size fits all". Wicca simply will not be right for *everyone* just as Christianity is not the right path for *everyone*.

you have more godly power than most if you know what I'm thinking when I'm not sure myself.

but having now fully grasped your question this is my belief.

Faith leads us through the darkness when the light of God's creation is not enough to guide us.

But to dismiss that which we have discovered through the miracle blessing of the brain which God provided us, seems inherently blasphemous. God put dna in us and he let us find it. He could have called for the Apacolypse on that day but he didn't. We are here for a reason even if we don't know what it is. Agnostic means not knowing what you believe.
some call that having an OPEN MIND

well, on the flip side, you don't know everything there is to know either, so you can not actually make an absolute 100% sure statement that there IS a god. there is far more evidence that there is no god. thus i use my human reasoning and intellect to conclude that there is no god. i base this on much emperical evidence while those who believe base it on no real evidence at all.

no, i don't know everything. but i take what i do know and make rational, logical conclusions, which is more than i can say for you.

and sorry to burst your bubble pal, but
a) your religion isn't the only religion out there. there are many religious people on this forum who DON'T believe in your god, yet still aren't atheists
b) this is the religion AND spirituality section. you don't have to be religious to be spiritual. i don't believe in your god, or any god, but i'm still a very spirital person. my being here has NOTHING to do with your hate-filled and bigoted god

I am in total agreement with your statements you have made. There is a God no matter which or what religion you may believe in or not believe in. I feel that there is a supreme being and the only way to be truly sure is to ask yourself and you will eventually find out.

You know, smacking people around with your words is not going to draw people to God. As a matter of fact, you are dishonoring God with you direct replies and judgments. Of course you do not know any better because you are a christian out of babylon the great. For some reason you seem to think you have some kind of authority to beat atheists over the head.
To all atheists. although we do not agree, I do respect your position, and will not tear you down. This person does not represent my God in anyway. He is one of the devils workers scattering instead of gathering.

No, None can possibly know everything. yet you Bible quoting Christians seem to think ALL the answers to EVERYTHING is found in the little black book. You MAY be determined to LEAD me to Christ, but like the saying goes... you can lead a horse to water but you CAN'T make him drink. You MAY lead me to Christ but THIS little Wiccan horsey is NOT going to drink.

I say there is no empirical proof the deity exists which is true.

If you hadn't noticed, the name of this forum is Religion & Spirituality. I am not religious and do not wish to be but there is plenty I find spiritual - other humans, nature & music among them. While the two can overlap they do not necessarily have to and thus just because I am here does not mean I'm jonesing to bend knee to the christian deity.

**Edit** How can you know what I really feel when you have never talked to me personally outside of this electronic media. I do think you presume too much.
