Do not put anything with acid in it on your skin. If headaches accure then you could have sun poisoning and staying in the sun to long cooks your muscles and skin not to mention skin cancer. Cool baths and a fan when you sleep plus a thin sheet to sleep with. Do not put oil on your skin. Keep your skin clean and dry because its going to peel anyway. Next time try a little sun at a time, it works faster and its safe plus no fevers or hurting.

It will take time.
You are doing the right thing by applying ALOE Vera ...
YOu could take a tylenol or advil to ease the pain!
Good luck!..
And try to be sure to use lots of sun block next time! A protection of 15 + is recommended. If you have fair skin, use at least a 30!

Aloe vera and time are the best remedies. Your body just needs time to heal from the burn. It will heal, but may be uncomfortable for a few days.

For the future, I recommend using a high SPF if you will be in the sun for any length of time.

the best thing to do is use polysporin, i find that softens it and gets rid of the red a lot faster than anything else. otherwise use tons of unscented moisturiser (i like nivea creme) or aloe vera.

What works for my brother (a landscaper) is to take a very warm shower and use vinegar. It hurts for a few but it takes the sting out....don't rub your skin to dry off but dab off and use a really hydrating lotion.

nope, never again, you people that go out and get yourselves burned are just plain stupid, you don't deserve any help. With all the products on the market to protect your skin, with all the information out there about the real dangers of burning, you still do it, no, no help for you, you can't fix stupid.
