I agree with Bricklayers wife- Talk to somebody. Although it may feel like the hardest thing to do when youre sad, it seems to work better than anything. If you cant talk to someone, writing in a journal is the next best thing. Other thing you could do would involve making yourself active in some way, preferably by helping others. Also, Optimism and/or positive thinking- Look at the bright side of things and count the blessings in your life. Watching a good comedy helps, too. Taking meds should be your last resort....too many americans are talked into drugging themselves to cover up their problems, and really to support the drug industry. Anti-depressants are no joke, they cause all kinds of serious side effects. You may also want to look into the different vitamins that have a positive effect on mood. Maybe your body could be lacking something (I often feel like mine is.) You didnt say you were sad but if so, feel better! :)

Sometimes being sad is part of depression. Many forms of depression are chemical. You may need some type of anti-depressant to balance out your chemicals. See a Dr. before it gets worse, and don't worry about being on meds..3/4 of America is on something for anxiety or depression. Good Luck

Listen to your favorite music or read a book. Keep your mind off of whatever it is making you sad. Do the best you can. Good luck!

I believe that God loves me and I am precious to Him. If there is sadness, I go to Him in prayer and He will comfort me with His Words in Bible. He loves all of us and has prepared a wonderful heavenly home for us when we die. There will be no more death, sorrow, pain, or crying. The old order we have now will be passed away forever. Thanks to God for He sent His only Son Jesus to die on the Cross to save us from condemnation, and qualifying us to Heaven.

I suppress it for a time while I busy my mind with other things, then, I analyze the root of the sadness and let it go.

I go walk on the beach, go shopping, get a good movie and watch it, or visit with friends that understand what I am going through.
