You may have a tattoo as long as it meets regulations. It must be able to be covered by your uniform, so nothing on the hands, face or neck.
There used to be a regulation stating you couldn't have more than 4our tattoos, total, but that is no longer the case.

Yes they allow tattoo's. But, the Marine core just changed the regs. It cannot show below your uniform sleeves or above the collar. Most branches of the service will follow or already have. Ask the recruiter for the right info.

What do you mean "had" to join pilot training. This is strictly volunteer. No one "Had" to join.
