This is not going to be fun, but cleanly put peanut butter or on that spot of hair with gum on it. The peanut butter should help the gum slide out of your hair. It might take some teasing it out of your hair. Good luck!

Slather on mayo and peanut butter onto the wad of gum. It should slide right off.

My sister fell asleep in the car once with gum in her mouth and it rolled onto her hair. Once we got to the party the hostess did just that and the gum slid right out :) After some dishwashing liquid to get the mayo/peanut smell out, it was like the gum was never there :)

Two words: Peanut butter. Of course, then you'll have to worry about smelling like a school lunch box. But it works.

...Some people suggest using ice to make the gum brittle, then break it out. But that might damage your hair as well.

First you try to pull it out but if that doesn't work you put peanut butter in your hair and that should work and then take a shower and wash your hair where the gum was.

There are a few ways, but rubbing an ice cube on the gum till it hardens and crumbles has always worked for me. I've heard peanut butter, but that sounds messy.

Rub it with vaseline. It will leave the hair greasy but it will come out. Have you ever eaten potato chips and gum at the same time? Well the same thing happens, the gum dissolves.

Freeze it with a bit of ice, then rub it and the surrounding hair with creamy peanut butter, olive oil, or canola oil, it should come right out. Good Luck!
