And in alot of pain and has a 101 fever. Does any one have a suggestions that she can do? Her doctor can only do so much. Thank you for any help and ideas you can offer.

if she has rheumatoid arthritis, then fever is not uncommon. Please follow the advise of your doctor and take the answers you get here with just a grain of salt. Your doctor knows best.

The arthritis should not be causing a fever, how long has she had the fever, and is the swelling a side effect of the Remicade? I think she needs to be seen by her doc, I have arthritis myself, but I have concerns regarding the fever and the swelling hands. If they are very swollen, she may be having trouble with water retention. Please contact her physician.

Your sister needs medical attention.

She would appear to have an infection.
