Depends on how well the dog is kept. They mentioned 12 yrs, but that would be an average based on a study. Doesn't mean that yours would only live that long. Given a proper diet, and all of the health checkups that they need, it could live even longer. I had a dog that lived to be 17.

You mean a Cocker Spaniel? Around 12 years....and they're known for getting cranky with age. Especially females once they've had a little of pups.

Averaging 13 years depending on the dogs life style,And what it eats ,(Should feed it Purina Dog food) How much room does it have to move around in (Exercise)I've seen them live sort lives on the acount they didnt have this.

Cocker Spaniels live up to 12-15 years.
They are very friendly towards other dogs.
They are quiet and not noisy.
They are a little destructive and have little protective behavior.
They are a little bit likely to stray.
They are very good with kids.
And are really easy to train.
