I already have a case pending with Child Support Services still with no success of payment. I have no idea where my daughters father is or if he's even working. Is there anything else that can be done to speed up the process?

if he does not pay you child support, in most states he can end up in jail. you need to make sure he is not getting paid under the table at jobs as well

Child support sucks why I know I pay child support. Now its really great if the fathers actually cares and pays then it goes by really smooth like for me it took a little while but I got it all straightened out. Now for on the run fathers will thats a different story no matter who you talk to or how many times to ask your attorney whats going on you can never get a striaght answer. The city court has other child support to take care of your lawyer has clients he/she needs to attend and all that takes into account and really when they have the time or your case is up next will they actually do something its all about paper work who gets what who signs and when and when to meet. if the fathers does not show he can move the court date i think back like 2 months. Really is a waiting game he might be in some other country or state if that is the case then exspect nothing from him. And if they do find him then no child support why becuase he is sent to jail for not going to court as ordered from the judge. Deadbeat dads equals no child support but just utter depression and pain. But don't let that bastard go make sure he sees the jail cell of Big Bobba and freindly fun toys and boys.

You have to wait, you do not know how many cases are out there "pending" there are so many fathers that the government has to find and arrest for not being responsible and paying child support, unfortunately, yours is not the first case!!!!!!

Try Googling his last name, and find out, or do a Google search, enter his last name, and it should tell you his address, ask his parents or friends, or any relatives he may have if they know where he is!!!!

You have to be patient with the court system, I know this can be frusturating, but let the courts work this out, and then do what ever you can to find where he is!!!!!

There has to be SOMEONE out there who knows his whereabouts!

If you remember your husband's Social Security number, see if you can call the IRS and get a copy of his 2006 tax return sent to you...if you are still married to this schmuck getting the return should be easy---if you are NOT married to him, it could be more difficult to impossible... I have friends who found their husbands, took them to court, WON the case, but since their husbands are living in states OTHER then where their ex and child are, the courts are not SO eager to force them to pay regularly.. one friend in particular has been fighting with the state of Arizona to get HER ex husband to pay back child support for her 4 kids... the guy MAYBE pays $200 every couple of months or so and his income tax returns that he files say he makes over $50,000 a year. But my friend and her kids live in New York...so getting the support has been REALLY difficult

Call the local TV new media and explain to them you are having a hard time getting your child support.Explain to them the D.S.S. has computers that are tax funded and they have the social security # and addy of your baby's dad.Tell them the D.S.S. workers exotic wages are being paid by taxes, OUR taxes and ask them if they can help them find the baby's dad and get some money for the baby.Nothing gets a D.S.S. worker off their backside and into action like a TV camera up their butt.

I am going to presume that child support was ordered by the court. If this is the case then the DAs office can file charges for comtempt of court and they can use the law to find him. If you have his SS# it would be useful in locating him.

Please read this site to get the help you need to find him. Nothing is a guarantee however. I married this man and found out that he had been evading paying childsupport for almost 20 years. He stayed out of the system so he couldn't be found by the IRS. I divorced him after I found out what he had done.

If they can't find him there isn't much they can do. If it is worth it to you you can hire a company to locate him. You can find a number of these on the internet but make sure they are legitimate before paying them anything.
