1 Timothy 2:11-15 is where it tells us that a woman should not speak or teach in the congregation. As humorous as it may be, it would be best not to try to "stir things up" but rather to take a clue about that church and not go there anymore- they obviously don't follow the bible!

2 Peter 3:15-16

Bear in mind that our Lord's patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.

Remember Pauls letters are hard to understand.

You know God doesn't care whether you are male or female. Several of Paul's fellow workers were female. Religion only looks at the physical while God only looks at the spiritual.

Look harder into the definition of man and wo...man.
