ice might help to bring any swelling down and may also help reduce the redness.

First, did this blemish appear suddenly or did it evolve from a small white bump? Is it raised and small or does it expand with no clear contour?
If it evolved from a small white bump and is small and a little raised, it is a comedone that evolved to a papule, next stage of acne infection. It may further evolve to a pustule (white tip, it´s pus) and even further (nodule, cist...).
You did excellent not to touch it. If it´s a single papule, you can´t do a lot more than wait: it may go away (if your body´s self-defence mechanism "conquers" the acne bacteria) or it may evolve to pustule. However, if this is not the only blemish you have, I suggest going to the derm for a more comprehensive treatment, especially because the pustules and nodules may leave scars.
If it appeared all sudenly and/or hasn´t defined contours, please go to the derm.

I know its kind of a weird thing to use but it totally makes sense if you think about it, I use it when I have a big ugly red pimple and it helps. I use diaper rash creme, which works because its made to reduce inflammation (which a pimple has and what makes it kinda hurt), and redness (which a pimple has and is caused by the inflammation).

Well it may sound weird but put makeup on it. It makes it appear less red. Other than that your doing the right thing, don't touch it. There may be some ointment that can help.

Use tea tree oil to help calm it and remove it, tea tree oil is natures spot cream. It should reduce swelling aswell. Then use a concealer to hide it until its fully disappeared. Try not to touch it swueeze it - you'll just make it worse.

Put toothpaste on it overnight.
It will most likely shrink the blemish, and it gets rid of redness really well.

Anything with menthol. You can use a dab of "Vick's Vapor Rub" or even a little bit of mint toothpaste.
