Firstly, you'll probably be better off leaving it until late sept until you book. As for where, the Carribbean will be in storm season until late Otober, therefore best to stay clear of it! there are closer (and cheaper) alternatives. Canary Islands will still have good weather, not exactly full of things to do though. Turkey is always a good option, weather should be good still, lots of all inclusive deals, and things to do while there. Tunisia/Morocco would both be decent options - although not too sure what to expect! Either way, hope you enjoy!

Go to Aruba. You can find good bargains to go there through AAA and even BJ's Wholesale Club. The climate is very warm all year round, and there is a very minimal amount of rainfall all year round, so you won't be screwed over by going during the rainy season. Most of the hotels there are all inclusive and on the water, I went there and stayed at the Divi two years ago and had a great time.

If you want to find somewhere in the Caribbean then you can search through the islands below. St Lucia may be a good spot.
If not how about Southern Europe, Greek Islands? Still nice in October.

Well, the Southeast (Florida Keys, Florida, Caymen Islands, Carribean, etc.) is nice during the Fall, given that we aren't experiencing hurricaines. Keep in mind this is hurricaine season.
