To borrow from the Minister Paul Sheppard. Why are we so weak as Christians in proclaiming our faith? We don't have to beat someone down with condemnations but we can pray, witness and do other acts that proclaim our faith instead of wimping out by keeping it personal.

God called us to witness publicly and individually.
Where are you at?????

If a believer in Jesus salvation is in the closet-it is because they chose to go into it-for these others till salvation they can come out of the closet but they are still not into Jesus salvation and the house of heaven.
people will attack you-so be carefull of side issues-always keep the salvation of Jesus the prime focus.

Peta people do seem to endorse the idea that an animal is just as important as a person-rather than that we have to be kind to animals YET "Animals were put here to serve mankind." Yet some changes came with the fall of mankind.

Jehovah's Witnesses are a cult-who changed the bible and made Jesus into a god=John 1:1& 14 comparing their new world transgression translation and the Authorized version
"And the word was God"

this is how I came as a Jew to enter the House of God and to stay out of the closet=this is what got me to learn this lesson=Satan is not killed-he is sent to torment forever -weeping and gnashing teeth-he too will be given a physical body.

this is what helped me to not to go be with Satan and freed me from his holds over me in religion, materialism and finally in lust and lies=as a Jew I came to believe=the Messiah Jesus promised from beginning Genesis 3:15 to his fulfillment to the last book of Revelation 22

As a Jew to me the prophecies helped me to know him personally-as they led me to his final words before ascending to heaven=Isaiah 9:6 "Unto us a child is born, a son is given, and he will be the mighty God, the wonderful counselor, the everlasting father and the prince of peace."

since the comming of Jesus many Jewish and non Jewish/gentile people believe in him personally, including all the Jewish writers who wrote the entire New Testament as promised in Jeremiah 31:31 ff/and following. "I will make a new covenant unto you, not like the one I made with Moses, and you shall be my people and I will be your God."

this is what helped me as a Jew to make the final breakthrough=praying for you in Jesus amazing grace that saved me=John 3 repented of my sins-even one lie, and asked Jesus in to forgive me and help me do better, and be my friend. amen. Revelation 3:19&20 "I love you and ask you to repent, Behold I stand at your heart door and knock, if you ask me in I will be your friend."

You can't buy true love, and when you have love from above you will have direction to earn money to provide for needs.

Praying for you to help others to be on the winning side and best wishes, David

While I do agree that Christians should, politely, but firmly share/be open about our faith, I do think you need to learn a few more details. As I understand it PETA is not a group for people who believe one way or another about whatever afterlives there might be for various species, PETA is People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. Also we Jehovah's Witnesses ARE Christians.

Friend as a Christian for over 37 yrs. I think I have many years of experince of testifying for the Lord, You fail to see, that Christians was never in the closet to come out of, My life has been a living testimony & an open book for over 37 yrs. & Many times I just kept my mouth shut, Do I need to pressure someone to be a Christian? No, We are the salt of the earth, & if we live that True Christian life, Then God will make them thirsty for the truth, Salt always make someone thirsty, & I have always said, If a Christian can not live the life they want to portray, then something is wrong, We are the only bible some people will ever read. In my 37 yrs. of living for God, yes I have talk to people & there was times I kept silent, Yet to this day, I have had Atheists & Unbelievers telling me that they appreciate the life I have lived before them, That they saw something in my life that they have never saw in many so call christians lives. This I say humbly.

It is all + the people whom you have mentioned who are trying to put us into the closet and if the Socialists get into the White House they will violate the First Amendment Rights of ALL GOD fearing believers.

The preachers of today seem to be preaching the wrong (money) message lining their pockets and selling what they claim was an inspiration of GOD. ( Matt. 6:24-34 )

Jesus said "freely ye have received, freely give."Matthew 10: 7-8

Jeremiah 23 : 1-7

1 Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.

2 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD.

3 And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.

4 And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the LORD.

5 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.

6 In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

7 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no more say, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;

Jehovah's Witnesses are Christians. Please do not pretend otherwise.

Really, everyone who respects and obeys Jesus Christ goes from door to door to teach his neighbors about the Bible's good news. It is interesting that only Jehovah's Witnesses are so clearly identified with the preaching work; globally nearly 7 million preach publicly each month.

(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you.

(Acts 5:42) Every day in the temple and from house to house they continued without letup teaching and declaring the good news about the Christ, Jesus.

(Acts 20:20) I did not hold back ...from teaching you publicly and from house to house

It's sad when someone who claims to respect the bible actually insults the true Christians (such as Jehovah's Witnesses) who actually do follow the Christ and actually do preach. It's sad but completely expected.

(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching... You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

Really, if someone goes out of their way to disregard Christian preachers and preaching, what is he saying about himself?

(Luke 10:1-17) After these things the Lord designated seventy others and sent them forth by twos... “He that listens to you listens to me too. And he that disregards you disregards me too. Moreover, he that disregards me disregards also him that sent me forth.”

I thought PETA meant "People Eating Tasty Animals".

After you borrow something, please return it.

And what other acts are you referring to? I shudder to think after reading the beginning of your third sentence.
