Hey someguysomewhere...I have news for you you can still go to hell even if you attend church every Sunday...Read the bible everyday...act as if you are always full of faith and live what one would call a "good life" and have been baptized. The only way to get to heaven is to be born again and live a surrendered life in Christ (doing Gods will).... God promised to give us a new heart and put a new spirit in us (Ezekiel 36:26) that is his spirit, with his spirit alive in us we have the ability to overcome the sin ( whom the Son sets free is free indeed) , but the only way to obtain this spirit is through Jesus Christ and accepting him as your savior and LORD...There is nothing outside of faith that can get us into heaven or save us from hell...we can not earn it, we can not be good enough...his word is clear ALL HAVE FALLEN SHORT OF HIS GLORY...Only his mercy and grace can save us and he extends this and proves his love for us in this..that while we were still sinners Christ died for us.

being baptized doesn't control whether you go the heaven. You need to go to church and read the Bible. It's not a matter of knowing what right and wrong is, it's a matter of strengthening your faith so that you can love God even more and stand up to temptation which you seem to be having a problem with. And you should be willing to profess your Christianity. Even more, you shouldn't have to just tell people that you're a Christian, they should be able to tell by your life. But you should be talking about God and what you believe too.If you truly have accepted Christ as your savior, and I mean a real acceptance, not just a way to get a free pass to heaven, then yes, you'll go to heaven, but you certainly aren't a very strong or devoted one.

God does read the heart....and he does understand that life's situations have made things what they are.
But you obviously desire Him! That's a wonderful beginning! You don't have to publicize the fact that you are Christian. The great Catholic saint, Francis of Assisi used to say to members of his religious community, "Preach the Gospel at all times....if necessary, use words".
You've not been baptized? Your "baptism of Desire" will suffice until the time is right for water baptism. God to your own "church"....that is, in the depths of your heart whenever you can: "But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you" (MT 6:6).
Losing faith is good....it keeps your faith alive and it does not become stagnant! It is a sign of growth! Didn't you ever challenge your parents or other authority? Yes, temptation will sometimes win -- more often than we like! Welcome to the human race! But God is bigger than our mistakes and, as I said, he sees the heart!
Be at peace!

The only way to Heaven is by the grace of God. If getting into Heaven were based upon our works (doing this or that), then who could go? God would say, "Why didn't you obey me?" Who is perfect? Who hasn't sinned?
If a person says to God, "But my sins have been forgiven because Jesus died on the cross," God will say in response, "But you didn't come to Jesus. You did not surrender your life unto Christ and accept Him as Lord and God."
A person must surrender their life to Jesus Christ so that He becomes their Lord and God. By doing this, Christ can freely transform that person into a new creation. Only then can a person be renewed (restored and saved). Only then can a person stand before God and say, "I am sinless, because Christ has changed me. I have been born again."
It is not about what we do, it is about what Christ has done and is doing. Christ is alive. He is raised. This is the most important part. Have you shared in His resurrection. Have you been born again?

Jesus said "feed my sheep" that's church.Reading the Bible is spirit led,the more you read the more understanding you get,it must be studied also.None of us are without sin.Losing faith is nothing more than being unsure,so you must decide what you are sure of concerning the Bible and its teachings.Temptation always follows you"Get thee behind me satan"...You must be baptized and repent of your sins.God bless you.

You might receive extra punishment for failure to preform as you so declare your intentions (e.g. God doesn't like slackers very much, he's rather you just be quite and don't profess to anything, then profess and then fail to perform).
The big point is WHICH SIDE YOU TAKE. What prophet you follow. Who you align yourself with and WILL IT GIVE YOU THE MARK OF THE BEAST.

God knows what is in your heart. Jesus said we have to be baptised, follow the 10 commandments (going to church), and most importantly Love God first and then love your neighbor as yourself. God bless.
