I'm Argentinian and most of the poor idiots in this country as a former Spanish colony are Catholics. It might be of your interest that we have the biggest Jeweish community in America After the United States. Then there are a lot of what we call Evangelicos (Gospel people). This people are by and large one the biggest thieves you'll ever come across in any country after the Roman Church. there are many Muslims too. There is a small percentage, though a growing one, of Buddhism and Hinduism. there are also Protestants of different kinds, we many Quaker colonies in some places of the country. One of my best friends is a Lutheran Protestant, I was born a Catholic. appart from that you have poeple who practice African cults like Umbanda and kimabanda, many of them coming with the slaves to Brasil who came here later on when they were free. One of my neighbours was one of them.
I'd like to point out that the categorisation I made for some religions is not extensive to all of their members.
I hope to have answered your question thoroughly enough.
Cheers from Argentina ;)

I'm from the U.S. where 44% of Americans are Protestant, 20-something % Catholic, 1% Jewish, 1% Muslim, and the rest "other" or atheist.

I live in Morocco, where 99% or more of the population is Sunni Muslim. There is a tiny minority of Shi'a (but I've never met one, this is just what the gov't says), about 100,000 Jews (but there were so many more before Israel was created), and a very very tiny Christian minority - there are native Coptic Christians, though very very few, and the rest are either underground converts or non-native Moroccans (e.g. second + generation French or Spanish whose families have lived in Morocco for a long time)

I'm a Canadian, and according to the latest (2001) census, the Roman Catholics claim the biggest percentage - 44%. After that are other Christian denominations (29%), no religious affiliation (16%), Eastern religions (6%), and "refuse to answer" (5%). The "no religious affiliation" includes Unitarian Universalists, wiccans, Native Americans, animists, druids, agnostics, athiests, etc.

In the far off exotic land of Brooklyn we have a major religious clash. Some jamokes worship the Yankees and some worship the Mets. This conflict cuts across all ethnic and religious lines. It was different when we had the Dodgers!
