I know a lot of people think that's ridiculous to spend that much on things like food, but there are some times in life that you just have to splurge! I have an expensive meal at least twice a year with people I love just so we can enjoy ourselves and have a great time. It's fun to live some moments in luxury, because life is so worth celebrating. It's bad if you do that stuff all the time, but it's completely worth it and even necessary sometimes. Not all of your life has to be completely on budget, you know?

Shut up! who are you to wonder what you parents spend their money on. They work, make the money, and choose to spend it on whatever they like.
Quit being a baby and grow a pair!! If it made my wife happy, I'd drop twice that on a meal for our special day.
Besides the point...Mortons is an awesome place to eat. GREAT food.

I know it's a lot of money but once a year is OK not every day, that kind of especial day comes once a while. So why not and if they're not rich enough then it's not good to spend that much money at one time. I know it's really hard to make money and save money now days. So we always have watch what we're spending on.

You don't really say if that's a lot of money normally. I mean to their budget. Is $300 a big precentage of their income? Do they both make good money? If all the bills are paid and everybody's healthy and happy, then I agree. . . splurge!! Got to cut loose every now and then.

All I'm going to say is $300.00 is an awful lot just to spend for one meal, but I really do hope they enjoyed it.
