No digital camera is, yet, equivalent to a good 35mm film camera.

35 MM is about equivalent to 5-6 megapixels.

Thats about all you need in a digital camera to be equivalent to 35MM.

Digital is cheaper and easier obviously (no film to buy, process, print)

Film is still better for landscape!
