You will not go too far wrong if you follow the advice I overheard some 40 years ago by a Cornish Lady in Scolding her young teenage son; for eating a 'Hot Dog' he had apparently purchased from a 'Street-Vendor' in outside Plymouth-Argyle Football Ground':

She said:- " SPIT-IT-OUT !! YOU KNOW BETTER THAN TO EAT ANYTHING THAT IS 'SQUARE', 'ROUND' OR 'LONG' Because it shows that Humans have messed about with what was once 'Natural Food':

Prophetic words; from the West Country:

I couldn't give less of a s.h.i.t.

I spent so many years eating crap and food most people wouldn't touch, drinking too much, using almost any illegal drug you can think of, and I am so physically healthy [I'm also clean now and eat clean food from stores and don't drink] now I hardly think eating food with preservatives or aspartame will harm me greatly.

I honestly think that if it was that harmful to your body they wouldn't package it and sell it in grocery stores.

There is controversy and if you worry, shop at health food stores, the worse it tastes, the better it is for you!

I would not speak like a typical end user.
My parents have not tought me how the food came to my plate, i.e a KFC a product of cruelty and biological manupulation. Even now, many of us does not mind for the food we are paying just for the "taste" but "content".

1 serving of red-meat contains 100 times more "foreign" eliments than vegetable, 1kg of beef require 10-15kg of grains, is a product of "slavery, cruelty and unfairness, etc".

The stomach is becoming a "graveyard of many corpses, and the souls awaiting the tribulance of our own deeds".

not one bit as 90% of the food that I consume is from whole food sources. I consume roughly 50 meals a week and out of that maybe 2 I don't cook from scratch. I was lucky my parents were both health nuts so I've been eating healthy my entire life.

Of course I do. I am growing more and more veg myself (at least whatever is possible to be grown in pots).
I just don't get it why we would need all those E numbers and stuff, I like natural food!

Yes I do.

I think fruit and veg are covered in pesticides and need to be scrubbed and meat has all sorts of crap in it.

Animals are given anti-biotics and growth hormones then we eat the meat.

I have seen what they feed to farmed fish, even colouring to make salmon redder.

Its really a disgrace

No. Most of the food I eat is natural (farms near my house), and if it's not, I like to make it myself so I know what goes into it!
