In Alice (thru the looking glass, I think it is) the Queen of hearts has promised bread and jam, every other day. Yesterday, and tomorrow.
Poor Alice. Never gonna taste that bread and jam.

I learned a Spanish phrase many years ago, translated means: "Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday." It shows you are not to be too worried about future events, as most of them never happen. When tomorrow gets here, it is no longer tomorrow, but is today, so tomorrow never gets here, see?

"Tomorrow" is a conceptional relative term defining time based on the ideal of a period yet to come. The future, if you will. Since the concept of "future" is unattainable, because it hasn't happened yet, one can never reach it's goal. Once the expected time passes, it becomes "today". Once past....yesterday.

The yesterday is gone, we live in today and by the time we get to tomorrow...it will be today- so we never see tomorrow, just today.

Tomorrow is not promised, yesterday is the past, live for today because it may be your last

The "future" & the "past" are illusions. The only time that ever exists is now.
