I understand how you feel. It certainly seems that way. Although, I'm very disturbed with our governments inability to respond appropriately to the issues that we face today, I continue to recognise that we are a nation based on immigrants. So I feel our response needs to be open but entrance must be fair to all ethnic groups, documented, and require that everyone pay appropriate taxes, fines etc, stand in the proper lines without anyone being allowed to take cuts, and entrance should only be allowed as long as our security, economy and health etc. is not placed at risk.

Hell Naw! Try as they might to change it, this is still America! I just can't figure out why people would risk life and limb to get into a country, mostly illegally, to try to turn it into the crappy place they ran away from. They should go back to Mexico, and demand their rights at home. Instead of pissing on the generosity of strangers. Oh, and being in our country illegally is a crime, and all illegal aliens should go to jail and be shipped back to where ever they came from.

People on the news always refer to the US as AMERICA. It always makes me sad.
If we did this people would think about Mexico when the US was mentioned.
That could be a good thing. Mexico is not out there trying to run the whole world like the US is. I'm sure they don't refer to them selves as America in the media.
