Not really; somethimes it seems like it. Cats have the ability to squeeze through tight places, land on their feet when they fall, etc., that people started saying that cats have 9 lives.

No. My cat had like 20, but he only lived 8 years.

I think the do then don't because my cat got hit by a car like three times and still lived then she ran away. But to tell you the truth it is just a myth.

No, it's just a figure of speech because cats are known to survive some pretty scary things like 3-story buildings, or telephone polls.

ummmmm....no, they dont, watched one get run over by a car, and it didnt come back to life......so i would have to give a big negatory on that question.
