probably try 10 first, if it's real easy, do 20.
Our little man is 4 and can do 100, but a year ago, 20 was a challenge.

I am a preschool teacher and think this is a great activity for a 3 yr old! I would start at with 10 and see what she can do. It all depends on the 3 yr old. If 10 is too much cut back to 5 and add a couple of numbers after she masters each one. The trick is to challenge her but not to overwelhm. Good luck!

how high can she count? At 3 my son knew up to 20, but i don't think he'd have been able to follow them in a dot to dot. Start with 10, and see if its too easy. Increase as needed.

Depends on how high she can count and if she understands number recognition. You can also do something similar to that with dots, but draw an arrow toward the next dot instead of using numbers.

put 20 dots. or you can ask her to count as high as she can, then round the number she counts to to the nearest tenth (unless the nearest tenth is higher then she can count).

You can start with her name or do fun shapes. You can let her trace her foot or her hand.
