Please, you are apparently listening to liberal garbage again. My sister is married to a Cannadian. Their health care systems is almost bankrupt due to immigrants!! Their health care system is seriously flawed and costs the cannadian citizens a great deal of money through taxes. Plus since everything in their health care is regulated, you do not get the best of care because their best doctors practice here! If you like Canada so much, move there. First, Canadians come to the US in significan numbers for health care. Many Drs come down this way as well. As a matter of fact ALL my doctors are Canadian and moved to escape a failing system.
Canada does have a smaller population and military budget. Who is it that watches out for you again??
