i havent seen my dad before in my life and i am going to america to see him in like a week and i dont no if he will like me and am really worried that is all i am thinking about these days and i am not concern trating on my school work and i got g c s e to think about

Sweetie, you're dad's worried about you, whether or not you'll like him, hate him for different reasons, think he's a loser, think he's not like your friend's dads, think he's selfish, all kinds of things are running through his head. He's wondering about what life would be like if he had been there to father you since babyhood. He's carrying a lot of guilt and that presses on his mind and heart.
When you see him, throw your arms around his neck and squeeze his guts out. Then take it from there.

Don't worry about it as much... if he is going to see you after he was not there for you you could probably bet that he probably has some regret about leaving in the first place... concentrate on school, and don't worry just be your natural self and he might see the daughter he's been missing out on

If he doesn't love you, it is not your fault. It is his loss. But you know what? I believe he is going to love you very much and I believe that he is also afraid of meeting you. He is hoping that you will love him too. Tell him that it is good to have a dad and that you have missed having a dad. Everything is going to be okay.

Not that it is easy to meet him for the first time, but I'm sure he will be just as scared and excited about you! Remember, you are half him..and he can't help but be excited to see part of him living within you.

why should you must worried?? what's the difference between before and after you "meet" your dad? i think it will be just the same... coz you still have to do your thing by your self.
