do you think that i can lose about 4, 5 pounds in one week if i go on the special K diet, and go on a few runs and long cycle rides??or 3 pounds, just a few pounds before i go on holiday??

Quick fix is to avoid carbohydrates for a week - you'll definitely lose those extra pounds! But you may also develop bad breath and if you go on a binge on holiday rather than watching your food intake you'll just pile it all back on . . . .good luck!

The faster you take weight off the more likely you are to gain it all back plus some. You want to aim for a slow and steady weight -loss of 1-2 lbs a week. Don't fall for those fad diets and gimmicks. The best way to lose weight and keep it off is through diet and exercise. Eat healthy foods and engage in moderate aerobic activity at least 3 times a week and strength train at least twice a week.

Hi Its possible I spose although I don't recommend doing it this way.

I went on a cereal diet (breakfast and lunch) lost the weight but gained it again once I stopped. Was starving doing it and lost my energy. So for me it wasn't a good idea.

If you are serious about losing weight quickly but safely have a look at www.feeling-great.org I was given this website to have a look at and I lost 16lbs and 4 inches off my waist in just 6 weeks and kept it off for nearly 2 years. My energy went through the roof and felt really great. I also dropped 2 dress sizes as well

Take a look I can't thank these people enough for giving me this information and guidenace to help me achieve my goal and keep it off.

It seems ok. The Special K diet drops your calorie intake, and the runs and cycling tone the muscle. Don't stay on the diet too long though, not sure how sustainable it is!

to be honest the best way is not to go on a diet as ive tried them all and diet pills and they dont work lol but just change your diet and go swimming 4-5 times a week for about an hour each time it tones your tummy and all your body up wonderful too ! i lost 2 stone since may its great and i eat loads too im just eating the right foods but instead of swimming try aqua arobics its great and really fun ! great question star for you and goodluck !

Yes, because you would likely be taking in less calories than what you would be burning. However, Special K is nothing more than puffed rice (very likely white) with high fructose corn syup. Poor Kellogg's is getting flack for their kids' cereals when the "healthy" adult cereals are just as bad.

I agreee with whomever said that "good way" and "dieting quickly" are oxymorons. Eat good healthy, real foods and up your energy.

Yes no problem & you could also get the skipping ropes out like the boxers do to get to their weight just hours before a bout. Good luck & enjoy your holiday.
