I hate cooking after coming home from work. I need quick, but healthy low carb ideas. I can't afford expensive meals either. Is there anything like low $$, low carb meals?

How about purchasing a low-carb cookbook? You can find them used on Amazon.com....that's where I buy a lot of my books (used). I bought "500 Low-carb Recipes" and "15 Minute Low-carb Recipes" by Dana Carpender...they are fantastic!!!
Most recipes are easy and quick (if you don't like to cook, however, I do) and you can "tweak" them to your liking, but remember eating low-carb is not necessarily cheap.

preheat the over to 350. place 4-6 oz. of fish in oven (covered with foil) set the timer for 25 minutes

place vegetables in steamer or purchase frozen veggies that are microwaveable. depending on the method of cooking this takes between 5-15 minutes.

healthy cooking doesn't get any easier than that. cooking healthy is easy. shop at places where you can buy in bulk, etc. at Walmart you can get 3 oz pieces of frozen talapia (type of white fish) for $1
