I go with the U.S. today. Mexico has the better team, but they have demonstrated an amazing inability to score, even against *much* weaker teams.

Woo hoo! Josh and I called it!
I was expecting a 1-0 victory for the U.S., but the 2-1 score was about right. And it should have been 4-1 if it wasn't for first Ching and then Beasley hitting absolute gimmes off the crossbar. That 2-on-1 breakaway with Donovan and Beasley against Sanchez was silliness. Had they NOT won that game, Beasley would be unable to sleep for a year.
It also might have been much worse, but Sanchez was outstanding. I'm a keeper myself, and a big Howard fan ... but Sanchez made some terrific stops.

The US national team has owned el Tri for the last 7 years. Mexico hasn't scored in any match on US soil since 2000; this ones at Soldiers' Field in Chicago.
