Actually I dont' travel that much during the summer as the rates are so high. I have found that I can take more trips traveling during the shoulder seasons. I stay closer to home in the summer. This year I went to London in April when it's cheaper, and will be going to San Francisco this summer. The SF trip won't cost much more during the summer than an off season, however the London trip would have.
