This is something you need to deal with.

To your dog, he sees your family as his pack.

Your dad is the pack leader, your mom the packleaders mate. Your dad protecting your little sis will mean that your dog sees that she is off limits, and of higher status in the pack.

Below that he is looking for his place in the pack. If he thinks you are a weaker member of the pack, then he will try to keep you in your place. You need to come his superior, by getting his respect.

You need to act with body language arround him that shows you are his superior. And if he gets frisky, while it may sound a bit crazy, biting him on the ear will put him back in his place.

Your family needs to take Jade to a dog school or you need to get a dog trainer. Biting is unacceptable and it shouldn't happen. Jade is not a baby, she's at least 2 years old. It sounds like she's just nipping at you, because you didn't mention that she's seriously hurt you. However, this could turn really ugly, and one day she could cause you -- or someone else -- some serious damage. So many dogs are put down because they are a threat to people. This is not the dog's fault but rather their owners and the lack of proper training. Knocking the day light's out of her isn't a good option for training the dog either. This could cause more mistrust and lead to more aggression. Get to a trainer before she hurts someone. It may cost a bit of money but it's a good investment. Not training your dog may cost you an arm, your pretty face and/ or the dog's life.

You cant just "knock the daylights out of a dog" that's really mean and depending on how severe, it can result in animal cruelty. It way also result in her becoming aggressive. Two wrongs don't make a right. Anyway, my dog nips me all the time but shes just playing, if your dog nips you, stop playing with her and ignore her for a while, it will make her feel guilty. Eventually, she will stop playing with you because she will learn biting makes people stop playing.

I hope that helps :) If not try a dog trainer.

she's trying to get your attention ! the best way to break a dog from biting or nipping is to find something it like to do to change its habits, does the dog fetch, or play ball or frisbe, try some other tactic to change the course of her habit, make a good habit out of the old habit, it might just work for you, if not then you may need a professional trainer, cause German sheppards are smart and they never forget., Positive training like with all animals is my motto, and re-enforcments from the Family, when she does bite tell her no! right then, if she continues then its time to change the habit.

she is not a baby any more at two years old she is a grown dog. You need to correct her when she bites you. She could bite you real bad and she could bite somebody else and she might have to wear a muzzle when she is outside. or worse she could be put to sleep for biting someone.

when she bites you, you need to do something. put her in a cage away form people for a while so she knows that every time she bites she will get put in a cage, or a bathroom. if you don't do anything she thinks it ok to bite and it might not be a big deal now but she might start to bite harder.

She's NOT a baby!

Thinking that is what's keeping her biting you.
Do you like being bitten by your dog?

Stand up to her and MAKE her stop!

If she is just nipping at your fingers then she is in a chewing stage, and needs some bones to chew on. It she is bitting then you should take her to obedience school.
