Nobody has been able to yet. Most people call it faith.

Anything that is created must have a creator. The universe and beings were not just a mistake or explosion like the theory of what the Big Bang says. Just humans, for instance, are so complicated and diverse (the brain, the heart ect) that it doesn't makes sense to say that we evolved from monkeys.

Just the way the universe is set and works in such a way that everything goes in order is another thing. The earth is set in a such a position so tha the earth gets the right amount of sunlight so that we don't burn and shrivel or that we don't freeze to death. How come the planets don't crash into each other?

Scientists say that a meteoroid will crash into earth at a certain year...huh... but they also said that there would be another Ice Age in the year 2000, ...some ice age....

There will always be people who come up with really convincing stories of how the earth was created or evolution or the earth being millions of years old. It all has to do with what you believe in the end and how strong you are in your faith.

Scientists say that dinosuars lived millions of years before humans, and that the oldest tree in the world is only two thousand years old......so contraversing. I believe that dinosuars lived with people but since there was no sin in the world during the time of the garden of eden, the animals were at peace with each other.

When sin came into the world, then people were forced to fight and kill for their survival. The book of Job in the bible talk about dragons living with humans.

Just everything around you is proof of God's existence.

I believe in God because of the hard evidence he exists. In the order, beauty, complexity, and harmony of nature and the universe, man's superior intelligence and moral conscience. Did all these happen by chance as evolutionists say? Not a chance!

Albert Einstein wrote in his book "The World As I See It" that the harmony of natural law "Reveals an intelligence of such superiority that, compared with it, all the systematic thinking and acting of human beings is an utterly insignificant reflection."
He went on to write, "Everyone who is seriously involved in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that a spirit is manifest in the laws of the Universe--a spirit vastly superior to that of man, and one in the face of which we with our modest powers must feel humble."

A very significant statement, wouldn't you say?

But one of the best proofs God exists is no other than Jesus Christ, the Word of God who became flesh and the REVEALER of God. God the Father sent Jesus not only to redeem man. He was also sent so that we have no excuse for disbelieving. What human can …

Silence a typhoon?
Walk on water?
Multiply a few loaves of bread and fish in order to feed a multitude of 5,000?
Bring dead people back to life?
Give sight to people born blind?
Change water into wine?
Rise from the dead?

These miracles demonstrate Christ's power over life and death and the forces of nature. Only a person empowered by God can have such powers. And if these miracles were just made up, Christianity would not have grown rapidly in the first century. His disciples would not have risked their lives for a bunch of lies. That is simply not human nature.

One thing and one thing only can explain it: These men had encountered the real, solid, bodily-resurrected Jesus Christ. Not a hallucination. Not mass hypnosis. Not looking in the wrong tomb or any other silly excuse. The flesh and blood risen Christ was seen and touched by more than 500 people. (1 Corinthians 15,6). That's why the resurrection story could not be silenced.

Peace and blessings!

Many forces that existed prior to the earth's existence, exist during earth's existence, and probably will exist after earth's existence, are not visible to the naked eye. It is not a deficiency of the forces. On the contrary; it is the limitation placed on the matter--called man.
I have posted this response at least 50 times on this forum.

Electricity, heat, electromagnetism--though invisible to the naked eye, they need witnesses to their existence. Non-believers either abide by the words of the witnesses or be hurt for their unbelief.

Matter, on the other hand, had a pre- earth existence. Matter witnessed the struggles of mighty forces. Pre-earth matter are three types: 1. Obedient-spinning harmoniously in perfect time. 2. Crunched and beaten about by forces mightier and hotter than themselves. 3. Discarded and bent--out-of-shape matter. Choose one type of matter and follow its example.

Last but not least of all: you cannot have a discussion about something that does not exist.

Since you thought you were so smart by asking that question, here is a humbling thought. The sum of the knowledge of all of your teachers known and unknown, plus those of their teachers--known and unknown- is 10% of humankind's wisdom-potential. Since 100% is perfection,
and since 100% is the genius end and since 49% is the idiotic end, ..... could you complete the question?

No one has ever proved that Gods of any kind do actually exist. No one has ever proved that Gods of any kind do not
actually exist. Only the Gods are capable of revealing themselves and they appear reluctant to do so. Talk about authors of confusion, such are the Gods.

Maybe it's all myth, legends or wishful thinking on our part.

Have a pleasant day.

It would be easy to prove to me that god exists. Since you've defined god as an entity that can do anything, it would be simple for such a god to violate physical laws. That's all I need to see - a clear violation of an established physical law, like gravity.

But no, you can't prove that ANYTHING doesn't exist - it's logically impossible. However, that certainly doesn't mean that everything exists.

Hey Thomas,
if you prove that God exists, you don't need to believe, because you know!
Funny question.

And for the creationist here:

Why does an embryon have a tail? God's mystery. He has done useless things? Not God, never.

There is a truly great chapter in The God Delusion that if you are truly interested, I'd suggest you buy and read.... Very tight arguments, showing Aquinian arguments (Thomas Aquinas) as well as others. He goes thru each side point by point. If you're a bright person, with at least a hs education, do indeed read it. If you aren't either, don't bother...the entire book would be beyond your abilities.

1 Corinthians 2: 12 Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit that is from God -- so that we may understand the gifts bestowed on us by God. 13 And we speak of these things in words not taught by human wisdom.... but taught by the Spirit.... interpreting spiritual things to those who are spiritual. 14 Those who are unspiritual do NOT receive the GIFTS of God's Spirit.... for they are foolishness to them.... and they are unable to understand them.... because they are spiritually discerned.

The "proof" of God's existence, or non-existence, does not depend upon the "acceptance" or belief of any human-being, or any specific church-of-humans. God does not come into existence because of your beliefs or mine; and neither does God "disappear", or become ineffective or non-existent because of anyone's unbelief.
It's like God-Incarnate said (John 10: 26): "My sheep hear my voice. I know them; and they follow me. You do not believe, because you do not belong to my sheep."

Only God's intervention, revealing Himself to you, can prove His existence.
