It's easy. All you really need to do is get any food sitting on the teeth off, so you don't have to brush long. Just a couple soft brushes or swipes at the teeth you can reach is a good start. Slowly your cat will get used to it, but you never need to do much. My cat's teeth stay very good condition despite the direpair they were in, with a brief brushing of about 30 seconds every night, where I just hold open her mouth and use one of those finger tooth brushes to softly brush. Dont do it too hard and hurt the gums. Good luck! It's worth it, saving trips to $300 teeth cleanings

Pretty much the same way as you brush a human's, but you need a cat toothbrush and paste. You can buy little finger cap toothbrushes. These are available from vets, and possibly from pet shops.
It's best to start getting a cat used to having it's teeth brushed from a young age - when it's little, get it used to having it's mouth opened and it's teeth touched, so it's OK about having teeth brushed from about a year old.
If the cat is older, you can still give it a try if the cat is docile. You might need someone else to hold the animal, then lift up his lips from the side, which will allow access to the teeth. Daily brushing is ideal, or if the cat isn't a huge fan even weekly would be something. Dental biscuits mixed in with the regular food will also assist in keeping teeth clean.
Cats tend to need dental treatment by about 12 years of age if they've been on an all-canned diet, they can go longer than that if they've been on an all-dry diet, but really cat's teeth are not designed to last as long as the rest of their body! Dental treatment is expensive and means an anaesthetic and a whole lot of palava, so preventative measures are preferable.

I brush my dogs teeth every night she loves it. Just use tuna or chicken flavored tooth past. I use chicken. Buy it at the vet or a pet store. You can use any soft toothbrush. a baby toothbrush is good.

well just like you brush your own teeth kind of similar to it not really though

ask the vet to do it, and or maybe the groomers might help you but call around local places and ask if they clean cats teeth.
