Does anybody know how many points a beginner is allowed to eat? Any information is appreciated.

It depends on your height, age and current weight.

If you have the books, its hidden in there somewhere!

It is based on gender, height, weight, and activity level.
A 17-26 year old female who weighs 150#, is between 5'1 and 5'10", is not very active (sits most of the day) should get
22 pts. If she spends most of her day standing, then she should get 24 pts.

IF she weighs a different amount than 150#, subtract 15, and add the first two digits of her weight instead for a point total (exampe 165# would be 16, 120# would be 12)

It's not based off of start date...it's based off of your weight, height.....they do a detailed thing on your body frame and weight and let you know how many points you have...most times it is around 29-34 though!
