i did a dignostic test at autozone it says th tps sensor is failing but i cant seem to locate on my truck and my manual doesnt say anything about it please help!!!

It is on the throttle body opposite the throttle cable connection.

Remove the breather from the throttle body(carburetor). Look to the driver side . Should be Grey with a Grey or white plug.Remove and replace.

would help to know if you have the 3.9 V6 or the 4.7 5.2 or the 5.9 V-8. if its the 4.7 the TPS is on top the drivers side of the TB and has 2 bolts in it. where as the IAC is only 1 bolt and below. if anything take out one and if it isnt the TPS. put it back on and take off the other one. as simple as that.

most TPS are located on the throttle body itself, on the otherside of the cable or linkage that opens the throttle, or it could be located at the gas pedal if your throttle is opened electronically

its located on the throttle body if its throttle body injected,if its multi port,it will be located on the air intake real close to the engine,that's where most of them are located on the newer ones,good luck with it.
